A recent project shows the way we repair a basement wall that is bowed in and cracked. This basement wall was pulled in several inches. After installing the ties we were able to perform the basement wall repair by pulling the basement wall back to its correct position. Once the basement wall was in correct alignment we waterproofed the outside, backfilled and tuck pointed the brick on the outside of the house. Next we repaired the inside of the basement wall by waterproofing the cracks in the concrete. This basement wall repair is typical when clay soil has expanded over the years and caused the basement wall to bow in. This basement wall repair puts everything back the way it should be and allow water to drain properly with a newly installed sump pump and drain tile.
